Intro to Tech Diver

The Intro to Tech course will transform your way of thinking to become familiar with technical diving. This course is the foundation to develop the core skills with technical equipment configurations, and to enhance and perfect your open water diving skills. In specific as task loading increases the  buoyancy, trim, balance and situational awareness while doing the skills are of utmost importance to prepare you for worst case scenarios. You will learn advanced gas planning techniques within a no-decompression context. This course is strictly a no-decompression course. During the course you can use enriched air nitrox mixes, provided the gas mix is within their current level of certification. Intro to Tech will give you a solid platform, building your muscle memory for critical skills and providing you the knowledge to move into the following technical diving levels with confidence!

Who should take this course?

• Certified divers that want to expand and perfection their skills, knowledge and awareness to the next level
• The certified diver who has interest in moving forward with cave or technical diving
  education
• Future SCR or CCR divers

Prerequisites

• Open Water diver
• Proof of at least 25 logged dives
• Minimum age 18 (or 16 with parental approval)
